“We are going to Salt Lake City, Utah, for the Eric Thomas conference,” stated Lilah, President of Mauna Kea Marketing. “I know it is really going to get the team excited for what is ahead in their careers, and provide them with new strategies that will help them both personally and professionally. Also, the event involves donating to a program called School Days, which makes the trip even more worthwhile. We love to support as many worthy causes as we can, and the chance to do that in such a growth-oriented environment is really exciting.”
“The School Days program provides a system designed to increase attendance, participation, and retention in the classroom,” Lilah explained. “Not only does it arrange workable strategies and methods into an easily understood format, but it then creates step-by-step instructions based on this information to support teachers in their efforts to empower students with knowledge. It’s even aligned with Common Core lessons, with which many teachers (and parents) have struggled.”
